Dia de los Muertos
Another favorite fall holiday of mine is Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. It is celebrated in Mexico every year on November 1st in order to honor the dead. A few weeks ago I found these awesome paper-mâché skulls– perfect for celebrating Dia de los Muertos! They were extremely easy to make and a perfect outlet for creativity. So if you need some decor for this holiday, head to your nearest Michael’s asap!

Quote of the Day:“Zazen isn’t about blissing out or going into an alpha brainwave trance. It’s about facing who and what you really are, in every single goddamn moment.” –Brad Warner

Klinker will play with my freshly defleshed skull much like she is playing with the false one shown in photograph #2.
