Dracula’s Lament

I saw “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” this weekend… holy shit it was hilarious.  The Dracula Rock Opera complete with puppets was my favorite part!  Jason Segal is no longer just “Marshall” to me… he is now the amazing singer, screenwriter, songwriter, legend that brought us “Dracula’s Lament!”

And here are the lyrics: “It’s getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better – I’ve been drowning too long to believe that the tide’s going to turn

And I’ve been living too hard to believe that things are going to get easier now – I’m still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I’ve learned

And if I draculasonglivesee Van Helsing, I swear to the Lord I will slay him! A-ha-ha-haa! Take it from me I swear I will let it be so! A-ha-ha-haa!!

Blood will run down his face when he is decapitated…aah! his head on my mantle is how I will let this world know: How much I love you–die…die…die! (Pause) I can’t.”

This song is definitely going on my iPod; I suggest your put it on yours!

Pet Peeve of the Day: People who don’t return shopping carts to the designated areas.

Quote of the Day: Although the course may change sometimes, rivers always reach the sea.” –Led Zeppelin

did you know he was really writing that before the movie? not sure if he did anything else with it, or if it’s just in the movie. I’d like to see it for real though!
